(SoundEffect)) : The conclusion: The tank won't fit the troop bay as designed (with the seats : in the way and such), but the length, width and height of the troop bay is : indeed big enough to house an Abrams MBT. The Pelican is big indeed! I'm a little hesitant to say it would really fit, saying as when it comes to cargo capacity, I follow the mantra: "If the door won't close, then it doesn't fit."
Must say I never really felt the Pelican was any smaller than it really was, nor am I particularly surprised about its actual size.
Though probably the closest match to its overall dimensions is the Kawasaki C-1.
As long as you remember its a transport rather than a gunship, you're fine scale wise.
