Love, Bungie...
Posted By: P1TVIPER <topgungt1@gmail.com>Date: 10/13/08 9:50 a.m.

So a few things were on my mind about not only the Halo universe, but Bungie themselves...

First off, Let me say that I don't think I've ever seen a company balance doing what they want because it's what they want, along with doing things for the fans because the fans want it. I can't thank them enough for crafting such an amazing universe to lose yourself in. One the one hand, I am incredibly excited to see what new adventure they take us on (new IP). Just thinking about all the possibilities... Perhaps a country western game? (then we could all clamour after the "Reckon' Armor"; I reckon it's the best thing in this here game! Shoot!) An undersea adventure? Fantasy? More epic sci fi? I do remember I believe Frank saying when he left that what was coming next was "even more epic than Halo", or something to that regard... sheesh... more?! I can't wait...

On the other hand, I certainly hope that H3R is not the last time that Bungie will visit our beloved universe. I know the "trilogy" is complete, but I would love to see Bungie come back and add a new layer to it all at some later time, maybe with the "NextBox". I look forward in earnest to each new story set in the Halo universe, even if done by a different developer, but Bungie will always be the number one... if for no other reason then because it is the STORY that keeps bringing me back, and Bungie holds the true keys to that...

One last thing, I still would love to eventually know where the Chief ended up. With H3R being truly for the fans as B have stated, it makes me wonder if we might get a few more morsels in another "Legendary Ending" at the close of H3R...

I would love to hear all of your thoughts and comments...
