Again, no one knows for sure, but if MB was helping to control the ship, then its possible that "he" could have chosen any functional point in the ship from which the message could be retrieved. : -Floodgate: Cortana uses a data storage device... how the heck did that get : on there, and why didn't the flood notice it? Mendicant Bias, again in theory. : -Floodgate: how did the Elites know that there was a storage device on that : ship? Thats a good question, without the cutscene I am not sure. : -Floodgate/The Ark: how does Cortana know that "On the other side of the : portal, there's a solution... a way to stop the Flood, without firing the : remaining Halo rings!"... she's been trapped on High Charity. She : doesn't know about the Ark Portal. Even if she did, she wouldn't know OF : the Ark. Probably Mendicant Bias. =) : -The Ark/Covenant: what is the Sentinel's priority task? Destroy the Flood, protect the Ark, and protect the new Ring. : -Halo: how do Flood dispersal pods drop from the sky? Technically they arent coming from the sky, but from the Ark where High Charity crashed. : -Halo: how does Johnson's Warthog get to where it is? He would have had to : make jumps from the opposite direction of the ramps. Could have been dropped from a Pellican from FUD.
