New type of Panorama

Hey guys,
I'm coming to you with my new vision for panoramas. This is my first attempt, so it is far from perfect. Depending on the response I get, I will make some more (actually, it was quite fun, and i have another idea so I will at least make one more :X ). I tried several different tactics when it came to taking the pics and stitching them together, so the end product of future endeavors might come to a better conclusion.

Ok, here's the deal. you should get a much better experience if you let the image load in another tab or window, so you can see the final product when it's completely loaded. Even better, you can save it to your HDD and open it in your viewer or choice. It's hard to explain this so no one gets confused without giving away the surprise, so if you have any questions on what the "big" deal is, feel free to ask :)
