1. Goatrope. Self explanitory, as h does a lot of the tricks in the trickity trick series.
2. MPRRS. They judge which movies are good and which aren't… like the MPAS Academy.
3. Jilly. Read some posts. She was definately suspicious of Cortana's motives.
4. Astro. Check out the newspost of what I belive is the first attempt to speedrun Halo. 10:02 on Silent cartographer?! AHAHA, that's funnier than any april fools gag could ever be! ;-)
5. Dustin. Our good friend Dustin Echoes!
6. Carnage. Try it yourself and see.
8. Wings. Taken from the opening cutscene on T&R.
9. Wildcat. Every high school in america seems to be the wildcats, but when you're escaping the maw, you have a wildcat destabilization causing the engines to explode!
12. FSR. These guys made a hillarious, if not extremely crude Halo rap with the lyric. A must see.
13. Engine. A bug in the classification of the surface causes the engines on the Maw to spray red "dirt" when a grenade or rockets detonate. Looks like it's bleeding
14. Fly. By Sugar Ray.
16. Mine. Boll seemed to love the trip mine in the beta; putting it under warthogs and stuff. This one one seven is pretty funny too.
17. Sue. While the SETI marines DID recieve a haiku a while ago, that didn't fit. The haiku in question was the easter egg in Halo 2. Go listen.
18. Nathan. Nathan sent emails to the Marathon Story page psing as Cortana. It's all documented there.
19. Macowrld. I fondly remember when Steve Jobs unvieled it.
20. College. The less said about this the better?
21. Zulu. Fairly obvious.
22. IOHBOY.
24. Wolf. In early versions of Halo, you could ride an animal called the blind wolf. You can see it in action in The Evolution of Halo.
26. Nutz. Halo's code name was Monkey Nutz.
Across:
1. Gravemind. Part of his secret backwards message.
4. ATWO. A hard one, suprisingly. Play the armory and listen to the conversation between gunns and johnson, or check the transcript on the story page ;-)
5. Ducains. Somebody (I won't say who) made public the fact that Ducain accidentally put his Silent Cartographer GNF run in a public directory. Downloaded and analyzed by every speedrunner out there, ruinign his chances of winning!
7. Crazy. Part of the return to sender Cutscene.
10. Sir. Pretty easy.
11. Mike. Mike Miller made some great videos called Legend and Legend 2. he wrote the legendary walkthrough. This guy though, is another story completely…
15. Frogblast. It's on the maw 700 page.
16. Mat. Mat Noguchi got the sausage when Halo shipped.
17. Seventymph. A pretty sweet video where some guys do a system link between cars at 70mph. None of those mirrors work unfortunately.
23. Loonytunes. A strange sound clip indeed.
25. You. Watch the Final cutscene.
27. Both. It's in a red vs blue skitt, where simmons and grif fight over the pronunciation. Simmons insists on saying BOLTH.
28. Boren. He's got Boren's syndrome which makes him immune to the flood.
29. Mullins. Craig Mullins has done art for a lot of bungie's games, and his website is goodbrush.com.
30. Wegg. Stuntmutt was just looking at it backwards.
