Congrats Mariachi!

Everyone say "Congratulations!" to Mariachi!


He is getting married on Jan. 5th, so this past Saturday we had a bachelor party for him. Can you guess the theme? There is a reason I am posting this here...


We are all Christians, so this was not a naked ladies, lots of booze, typical bachelor party that many think of. So, we had to get creative on what we would do. The best man and I came up with the idea of giving Mariachi "medals" and a word of advice with each one. Each would come from a different groomsman or the Pastor. Below are the medals, what they mean, and the Bible verse that went with them(Medal above, description below):




  1. Arbiter - Solving a conflict

    1. “In your anger do not sin”: Do not let the sun go down on while you are still angry, and do not give the devil a foothold. Ephesians 4:26-27





  1. (MC)Protector - Protecting your marriage

    1. "Husbands, likewise dwell with them with understanding, giving honor to

      the wife, as to the weaker vessel, and as being heirs together of the

      grace of life, that your prayers may not be hindered." I Peter 3:7






  1. Honor - Honoring your wife

    1. He who finds a wife finds a good thing, And obtains favor from the LORD. Proverbs 18:22





  1. Sacrifice - Putting your wife's needs above your own

    1. Husbands, love your wives, just as also Christ loved the church and gave Himself for her. Ephesians 5:25






  1. Sgt. Johnson - Know what your wife likes

    1. Let the husband render to his wife the affection due her, and likewise also the wife to her husband. The wife does not have authority over her own body, but the husband does. He really liked them and the after eating and presenting them, we had a great LAN. See, you can incorporate Halo into anything, heh.
