I Must Have Been Blushing... So, what you have all been waiting for...So how was it you ask? Many of you who pay attention to HBO must have read Kornman's writeup already. Very straight to the point and technical as any man would write. Me on the other hand, I'll tell you of Beauty... Emotion and Theme of this trip can be expressed by this song... Kirkland was lovely, such a pretty place, it really rained only once the entire trip, the other 2 and days were partially cloudy or sunny, still colder then ever, which caused my teeth to chatter and my body to shake. The day we were admitted into the holy place of Bungie, I was as you all know decked out in that ever so lovely kimono, very hard to move in, restricting, with my waist feeling as it it was bound up in a corset, on 3 inch high wooden shoes so to not let my kimono drag on the floor, carrying a small bag of offerings to those at Bungie whom have inspired me so. At most I believe I was in about an extra 20 to 25lbs of gear all for the sake of my devotion to beauty. For to adorn oneself for such a thing is to show the highest devotion and adoration. When we entered into the building we had to sign many forms( I didn't get a chance to read any of it so for all I know I could have signed my soul away to Bungie and not known it, if i accidentally reveal something at which I am not supposed to well, I apologize), and were restricted from taking pictures inside the main...office I guess what that was. We were greeted by Davina, the new princess who seemed rather busy , though complemented me on my kimono. You can read all the technical whatnots here which Kornman covered...
When we entered into Jays office I noticed many bottles of alcohol, shot glasses, brandy glasses and some beer bottles. Frankie was right, Halo 3 was built upon many beers, I looked around the somewhat cluttered room as we had awaited Marty, for he was busy talking on the phone. We were then admitted into the Ivory Tower, where gave Marty HUGZ and presented him with a lovely jade dragon which he put on one of the desks near his piano, they were explaining things about Halo, its music and also Marty's other work. The other guests were silent, and I decided to interrupt the silence with asking Marty for permission to have some of his MMs he then offered them to the rest of the group, though I don't remember anyone else taking any. As I stood there and munched, listened to Marty, I regret being so in awe of this composer that I forgot to ask him if he listened to Adiemus or Secret Garden, and I really wished I had asked him to play a little something for us live if it wasn't so much trouble. We were then whisked off to a few programmers desks, which was really interesting for the boys anyway...don't get me wrong I love hearing all the little technical things as well, though I began to grow bored with all the technobabble(Quite odd for someone who is an "AI" isn't it?). I soon lost myself in the business of the world around me, watching as they worked, and talked to each other, I was so tempted to draw on this small white bored table which had basically been scribbled on and erased many times, but I did not feel like upsetting anyone, so I then became distracted by all the things which adorned the walls of the building. From the figures of our favorite aliens from the series, to posters of their games, cardboard cutouts of characters, to the little action figures that each worker kept on his desk. I noticed some of the employees staring in my general direction then after locking eyes with me, quickly looking away busying themselves with their days work... We saw some DLC, and one very special place which was huge and from the concept design gorgeous, as these types are my absolute favorite to look at. Seeing the art and hearing about story is what has always interested me the most. We were then guided to the game room where we found Frankie, Lukems, a few other assorted people and Bob playing some Halo 3 multiplayer. I chose to sit next to bob on the Bungie employees side of the room while everyone else seemed a bit standoffish and decided to go to the Consoles across the room. I suppose thats the advantage of being a pretty little girl, is automatic cute points for whatever I do. I was not content with the pre-made accounts at which were on the consoles so while everyone just jumped into the game and got killed dead, I decided to make my Cortana account complete in the colors which were on my console at home and Maraflower emblem.I then jumped into the game, the competition was fierce but rather fun, censored trash talking abound aside from my "Your mom has the rocket launcher" to whoever asked...
So that concludes my side of the Bungie tour, here are some images from the webcams during my time with Frankie and a few others, who's names unfortunately I could not remember.
and from the day previous, as if heaven smiled upon me...
And now I sit here, Contact Beautiful, some pretty things and one of two flutter hairpins...
