Well, maybe not an egg per se, but an interesting, hidden tidbit that hints at the goings-on on Earth. There was also no mention of it on HBO or Google, so... Go to High Ground, and look underneath the small stairwell adjacent to the pipe room that leads up to the catwalk connected that room to the central building. It's easiest to see in Theater or Forge, but a well-placed crouch-jump will land you snugly in the nook. Now, look at the ground. Along with the assorted trash you see piled up in most corners on Earth, you'll see a few pieces of white paper labeled "UNSC DRAFT". These don't appear anywhere else as far as I know.
