Seeing as it looks like HBO hasn't been introduced yet, Maluu and others have brought about a new technique, dubbed telerunning. Seeing as Maluu has done an excellent write-up over at HIH, I am going to shamelessly post it here, for you guys to enjoy :). I've found telerunning to be pretty fun, and it's a nice break from all the killing you're used to. (Maluu)
A Telerun is a course which uses the speed gained from travelling through one teleporter as a necessity (in theory) to reach the end of another. This is done multiple times creating a sort of "run" for a jumper to go through, hence telerunning (if you don't agree with that name, we don't care, we will continue to call it telerunning, you can call it whatever you want). We've created several maps ranging in difficulty to show the basics of what can be done. The maps are available for download on our fileshare page, so go ahead and test em out. http://www.bungie.net/stats/Halo3/FileShare.aspx?gamertag=JT%20Files Gametype

These teleporters don't have to be used for courses like what we have done. They can also be used to perform video worthy stacks. For example, the hard map requires the jumper to stack two rockets by teleporting ahead of one that was previously shot. This is actually pretty basic when compared to the possibilities of dedicating an entire map to one stack. And then there's partners...mmmmm We do understand this takes away from the significance of the jumping style most people are used to, that is, using a fixed environment to find jumps. With teleporters the environment is no longer fixed, but dynamic. Some people will view this as an unwanted change because the act of attempting jumps seen in videos is no longer practical. For us, jumping isn't about watching a video and attempting each jump we see. It's about enjoying the experience of witnessing impressive stunts. We simply view teleporters as a tool to increase the levels of complexity and creativity in jumping.
The current telerunning maps were created by mr0llie, Reidon, Cloud7654, and Maluu.
