There was a news story recently about some guy who'd worn the same pair of trousers to work for the last two years, but I couldn't actually understand what was wrong about that, because it's not like he didn't wash them occasionally. Every week in fact, which I thought was pretty impressive. What was it about? Are we meant to vary our trousers regularly or something? I must've skipped that lesson at school. So anyway, all I'm saying is that I'm a one-pair-of-trousers sort of guy, and if I've got a good pair I'm gonna get every last penny's worth of wear out of 'em. Hah! Take THAT, trouser vendors! You thought you'd get rich on the back of my annual legwear expenditure, but you thought wrong. No second-rate pantaloon material for ME! You're probably spotting the connection by now Slimby. I suppose I MIGHT try a pair of funky new Halo 3 trousers in due course, but hey, I've still got at least a few months wear of the old ones yet eh? And who can resist the rich grunty texture of that original fabric? Let's face it, Halo is one hell of a pair of trousers. But you're really saying I should get out more, right?
