Hi all, I haven't really posted actively for quite awhile (Ghosts of Onyx kinda disillusioned me for some reason) but I kicked around some fan fiction around here back in the day. (If you search "Marty" you'll see my Halo stuff D. Providence, Smokes Niko, and St. Otley) Anywho, I'm about to graduate college and I just had my first public reading of the first chapter of some (original) science-fiction of mine -- a story called Wayland Priory. I would love for you guys to check it out and tell me what you think (video + manuscript at my site http://www.duffydirect.com/) Writing Halo stuff was really exciting for me and got me into serious fiction writing for the first time (it also helped me get into college with my supplemental application). If any of you remember my fan fictions (or even if you just read them now if you have the time to spare) I would absolutely love commentary on any progress you think I've made if I have, or just general comparison, or whatever! So yeah, please check it out and let me know what you think! I'm sorry I don't have any "comment" field or anything on my webpage, but my email is duffym -at- gmail -dot- com and I'll read anything RE to this thread, of course, too. p.s. sincere thanks to LouWu for setting up that great fan fiction creation/feedback engine on this site, really encouraged me to get into writing (read the feedback I got on those pieces and you'll see what I mean)
