| Attack on the Control Room- Best level ever? | |

Seriously. I figured out a cool way to play Halo PC in a tiny window on my desktop (add "-window" to the target line on the icon) and this is great for me because I don't have such a high-end computer, but because the screen is so much smaller I can play on full settings. But anyways, to the point I was playing so AotCR and time and time again I realize how good this level is. Nothing else in Halo PC OR Halo 2 even compares with the fun I have on this level. Forget about the repeating rooms and the easy shortcuts. I'm just amazed at what this level has: -long, open areas for great battles with dozens of enemies, right from near the beggining you can go choose a multitude of options: go it on foot (though this isn't a realisitc option) , take a ghost, tank, or warthog. -amount of fun high-powered weaponry. Rocket launcher and Sniper rifles are EVERYWHERE on this map, as well there's no shortage of ammo. -INCREDIBLE diversity of play: you can choose to leave your vehicle, have some GREAT fun sniping or rocketing, and then get back in and continue. -variety of enemies: multiple packs of hunters, several wraiths, dozens or more elites, banshees, tons of ghosts...There is so much great variety it's awesome. -tons of fun A.I. support- I think, off-hand, that AotCR has the most marines you get out of any other level, though I could be wrong (I think maybe PoA takes this award, but because they don't follow you everywhere, it's hard to notice, DOH! also Halo...ok nvm). -Sergeant Johnson is just hilarious (note to Captain Spark, I got some great dialogue out of Johnson when he was in the tank with me and just 1 other marine on Heroic. I will try to go back and record.) I can defenitely see where Rockslider gets all these amazing ideas from. Especially at the indoor cavern part (where only 1 bridge is there, and there's plenty of sniper and RL ammo off to the right side ;)) getting out of your tank (something I've never thought to do) and going sniping with Johnson is just tons of fun, especially when you work together ;0 It's also really fun at other unsuspecting parts where you're in the tank to get out and do some sniping. A lot of this was my personal opinion but what kind of memories do you have from this level? In MY experience this was the most memorable. To digress, I wanted to mention how incredible the dialogue is in Halo in general. Jonhson was sniping in the indoor cavern, and my other marine with a pitiful needler got in his way and Johnson almost shot him. And then Jonhson goes and says: "You're in my line of fire" (but in Johnson's voice). You should've seen the look on my face...I was shocked, so realistic the timing of that line :0
