The musings of a stranger *img*

So today was election day and I was hired to be a pollwatcher. (Those of you who just snickered, slam your head against your desk.) Basically, my job was to make note of who came to vote in my precinct. Well, I was in a small precinct in a small town, so there was some down time. I brought my doodle pad to keep me entertained. One of my doodles was Halo inspired. (Linked Below)

So I am just doodling, and this lady walks up and is like "aahh, I like your drawing can I look?" and "what character is this?" to which I reply generically, "It's just an armored soldier." She then says to me "well I like it, except for this" then points to the skull at the top of the flagpole. She then goes off on this 10 minute lecture about how futuristic soldiers and egyptian culture can't, hasn't and won't ever work. I was at a complete loss for words. So all I could do was look on in amazement going "yep...mmhmm...yeah...hehe..yeah"

I was going to share the pic anyway, cause I think it's a neat doodle, but then that lady comes and just blows my mind, so I shared that too.
