In Response To: Wait - Who Voices Master Sergeant Gunns? (Major Silva) : After Google-ing R. Lee Ermey (after thinking he might be dead since Mail : Call is evidently cancelled now), I came across his WikiPedia page. So, : after confirming he wasn't dead, I scrolled down near the bottom to see : what he had leant his voicework to. According to the never-wrong : WikiPedia, he voices Master Sergeant Gunns in Halo 2 - the first person : you meet, who test your armor and what not in the very first level. Now, : by listening to it in game, I didn't think it sounded like him. But I : could be wrong. Is it really R. Lee Ermey who voices him? Sorry, I've : seemingly lost the Halo 2 Booklet, and wouldn't know where to look online. Gunns was voiced by Ken Boynton, according to Marty. He always does more than one voice for us and we forgot to credit him for Master Gunns. He was also the crazy marine in Halo 1, you know the one who ranted about the flood and then shot himself. He does other voices that folks should figure out if they have some free time. Anyone wanna take him up on that? :) (According to IMDb, Ken voiced a Brute in Halo 2... what else?)
