After 80+ hours of work and experimentation, as well as restarting once, my first major Vector fanart has been completed, and I couldn't be happier.

I came to the conclusion during the creation of it that I was going to finish it and devote it to Bungie. Not just as a piece of fan art but as a thank you as well. It was because of Halo that more than ever I got into graphic designing and now am looking at getting into a graphic designing course in College to work on games myself.

I've always been a massive fan of Halo and enjoyed the Bungie games before then, but never got much of a chance to play them at home. Now however, I find myself picking up Halo figurines and playing Halo 2 (Single Player, not easy to get Xbox Live in Australia, not to mention connection speeds) more than ever. The story is fascinating, the characters are diverse and colorful, and there's a lot of meaning behind the games that is rarely found in any sort of entertainment anymore, ESPECIALLY not First Person Shooters.

So this picture, as little as it really is, goes out to my Bungie overlords/masters. You guys are an inspiration.
