In Response To: More tactical chat at Bad Cyborg (Rockslider) I've also just expanded the Melee attacking section. As part of this, I did a bit of testing to see what whack-rates I could get out of the different weapons: around 65 whacks per minute for the plasma pistol, 60 for the assault rifle, plasma rifle, and sniper rifle, 50 for the pistol, and 40 for the needler and rocket launcher. Based on some testing against Hunters, it seems to me that the damage you inflict with a blow is not dependent on the weapon you're holding however; seems like the same for all.
