In Response To: Re: Where in New Mombasa? (O81PenitentThingy) I've tried using Google Earth and Frankies hints to peg down a guess at the specific location of the artifact. -Rough quotes from Frankie's recent updates.
Using the 3D 'Terrain' enhancements in Google Earth, I really think anyone with the program should judge for themselves which side of the mountain range best fits the trailer. The Kilimanjaro Range is very distinct from the North/South as opposed to East/West. (*there are also cliff-like formations to the North of big K that look similar like the trailer.) As for the 'Geological Formation' in "cmap5nf.jpg", I haven't messed with it all. If you have G-Earth you can be the judge weather or not this is random terrain or something more. I have included a sketch of the Artifact, which you can also use to guess where it might be using G-Earth Overlay and Measure/Resize tools. Satellite Overlay JPG's. Direct links to ImageShack A)
