Well, after 'Shameless Showing Off,' i figured i'd be done with montage vids, but the games I've been playing these past few nights have been so good they deserve some commemoration. I, along with several members of the HBO Forerunners clan, have discovered that the single best gametype in Halo 2 as far as competitive yet still incredibly fun gaming goes, is 2v2 Team Slayer, with a BR start, SMG secondary and motion tracker on. We've played this gametype on just about every small map, and some are better than others, but it is always a blast, always excellent gameplay and there is never any of the frustration of matchmaking. The motion tracker bit may cause some consternation among the MLG folk, but I have to say, in my experience, playing with the motion tracker off is just plain not fun compared to with it on. It adds an element of tactical stealth to the game and allows the team defending a position the ablility to not get completely surprised by a lucky spawn. Anyways, this montage is all footage from custom games with the Forerunners, mostly BR TS, but some snipers, some objective games and even a bit of MLG. People in the IRC channel will have seen some of this footage before, as I've been making smaller montages basically every night from just that nights gameplay, but this is a compilation of all. Enjoy! This is hosted on my site, so there should be enough bandwidth to handle a frontpaging.
