A Sign that Bungie's in the big leagues?
Posted By: Claude Errera <errera@gv2.com>Date: 10/18/99 10:44 p.m.

Okay, I happened on this in a weird way, but if you point your browser to

http://www.buybungie.com/

you'll find yourself at buy.com, an online superstore.

A little experimentation shows that many big players in the computer world are similarly represented:

http://www.buyintel.com/
http://www.buynec.com/
http://www.buyibm.com/

and so on.

(http://www.buymicrosoft.com/ yields a 404 error on the buy.com site, probably due to Microsoft's heavyhandedness with copyright stuff.)

You won't find, however, buyid.com, or www.buyaureal.com, or www.buyorigin.com, or www.buygtgames.com... although Eidos and Westwood Studios are both represented. Bungie is certainly in rarified company here... do the folks at buy.com know something we don't?
