If anyone has the Limited Edition Halo, they would notice that in the front, there is a paper called "Conversations from the Universe". I went on reading this and discovered some amazingly important information. First of all on the second page, there is a letter from an archaeologist named Esko Korpijaakko writing to a women named Carrie. He talks about how he in an archaelogical expedition in the Orion system on the plant Coral which "unmolested by the Covenant." He then talks about how, with explosives, he has discovered an object. So far, he and others have dug 80 meters, and think this may just be the tip of the iceberg. Here is the description: "It's undeniably alien. For one thing, it is made of a material we can't identify. It's a metallic crystal, although its mode of manufacture is unexplained. It's architecturally perfect. Walls are identical in height to a near-atomic scale. Symmetry is impossibly accurate. Yet it's rich in detail, and adorned with what appear to be purely decorative, artistic motifs. "We know that the eighty or so meters we've uncovered so far are likely the tip of the iceberg. There seems to be a complex of galleries and vaults beneath, but so far, its secrets remain sealed like a tomb. He then says that it may not be of Covenant origin and that he prays that it can, in some way, help the humans fight in the war. On the next two pages, it is the transcript from the black box on the battleship Sacred Promise. The transmission starts where the Sacred Promise is under attack, and that it sees some structure. It cannot be a Halo because the atmosphere is different. It actually has barely any atmosphere. The transmission two seconds before Sacred Promise was able to land. This may have been another Forerunner structure, but who knows? Two pages after that there is a discussion between two elites. In the fourth paragraph, one of the aliens says: "I suspect we are forcing them into a tighter arena than they care to fight in - soon we may be able to use the Sharquoi." Perhaps this is a Covenant planet-killing weapon? Or maybe it was the artifact mentioned before? Finally, on the last page there is a letter from a girl named Cassandra. She says: "I've heard quite a bit of your adventures on the Halo." She then talks about how she is on the "fourth-stage rehabilitation". I believe that this may be the sister of the Master Chief, and that she has also been chosen as a Spartan-II. Hope I have given some new info, in case you do not know all this stuff | |
