So....I decided to give it ANOTHER shot...

And guess what? You're right, got stuck at the second boarding craft on 'Home Field Advantage' AGAIN. (legendary setting) Despite having two needlers available, snagging a couple of plasma grenades and frags, sniping the grunts,....every time I get their numbers whittled down to where I think I have a chance to finish them, guess what? Here come another group of Elites from the boarding craft. I can stick one Elite with a plasma grenade, but it only kills him and leaves four remaining. I bounce a frag off the wall into the middle of them--it only runs down the shield on one, and I can't finish him off with the Battle Rifle. I can find a plasma pistol, drop the shields on one, but he's bouncing around so much I can't get a bead on him before his partners cook my goose!!!!!! Upstairs, stick one--back down, hit from other angle, keep them guessing all the time...etc.....NOTHING WORKS. I'm sorry folks...forgive my bitterness, but I honestly don't think ANYONE has actually gotten through that moment on Legendary AT ALL!! If I'm mistaken, someone PLEASE record a video clip of that occurring, would you? As of Sunday night I've spent something like sixteen total hours (including from the previous attempt) at this one stinking point! I don't have any friends to play co-op with, so I can't work through it that way and figure out a single-player strategy through that. There is NO WAY AT ALL to kill enough of the enemies quickly enough with the tiny amount of ammo and grenades that have been programmed into this difficulty setting, yet I keep hearing how it's been done....*sigh*...sorry for the rant, but I'm so sick of seeing my best efforts come to asolutely nothing, that's all...In all the time I've been playing games, this the first moment I've seen strategy and thinking my way through be worthless. I'm not an elite type of player--IS THAT WHAT IT TAKES!? If so, I'm sorry I ever bought this game. /steps off soapbox PS: No, I'm not looking for sympathy or pity, folks. Just someone tired of always falling behind the learning curve, that's all.
