Sure, they may all be dead... but that doesn't mean that their DNA couldn't be on the Ark, along with the DNA of hundreds of other species. Heck, that may have been what started the human race. :) Oooh, I think I've got a theory brewing here! My Theory: The Ark created the forerunners again from DNA after the Halo was activated, but of course they didn't have any memory, so all they knew is what they learnt from the Ark itself. It also created other species that the forerunners had, one of each sex. | |
