Ah, how refreshing, a new element to multiplayer: troop transports. That's right folks, your favorite human dropship (and the only human dropship in the game) is now in multiplayer! Pilot the Pelican, ride in the Pelican, or run in fear of the mighty bird itself as we bring you all new adventures in multiplayer. Ok, marketing over. First I should clean that up a bit: this is not my MOD and the Pelican will not, at this time, be released for Death Island (but rather another super secret MOD - later). Credit goes out to MonoxideC once again for doing this - he used what he learned from his Library MP conversion to do this. This isn't so much a technical achievement (since he already did it earlier with the Library) as it is pure fun. This is a total blast to play and while the video only shows three of us, we played with six earlier on and it rocked. Check out the video: Pelican in Death Island - ~19MB .rar / .wmv formats. As stated, it's in a .rar file (so people don't stream) and inside the .rar file is a .wmv (WMP 9) because it's PC & Mac friendly. This host should be sturdy enough to take any punishment you throw at it, Comcast has only shut me down once before due to excessive bandwidth usage. Film Credits (because my WMM is broken): Aztec, MonoxideC, N-/Nick (me). I made the video in good 'ol WMM which is broken so I can't do transitions or effects.
