| Massive Rumor: Halo 2 set for release this week | |

http://games.thedgn.com/index.php?page=news/EpylFFuyllqRxBTDHp.php There's a huge rumour going around the net right now with several pieces of evidence pointing toward a release of Halo 2 on Nov. 15th. Several members of the Gamespot forums are claiming to have seen a TV advert on NBC today with the tagline: "On November 15th - The world will know Xbox" There are several topics at Teamxbox with info, such as this piece: "I heard something in particular that amazed me today. I work for EBGames and I was talking with a Manager from Gamecrazy down the street. All's I have to say is that HALO 2 IS COMING! The Xbox Rep for us and them (Gamecrazy) told the Gamecrazy DM to be prepared for Halo 2. The DM then told all the store managers for them to get ready. Halo is going down to $19.99 on the 15th we believe and Halo 2 is coming VERY VERY soon after. Very as in the same day! I can not completely verify this but the guy actually took me to the side and told me this away from the customers. And he is a good guy and wouldn't get my hopes up so much. I believe him because the ship date is April 1st(April fools) and they were set to bring it out the 15th anyway. This month our Vender of the month is Xbox (wonder why?), and we mysteriously have a deal for trade in towards trading in games toward Halo 2. Either the Xbox rep is totally pulling one, or he is telling the truth but I would take a Xbox Rep word over anyone elses." Wishful thinking? I think so. But you're gonna hear a lot from this rumour. | |
