The game is indeed playable. I tried it out for a while last night on a low end card (geForce2MX). It looks leaps and bounds better than it did over a month ago. It's interesting to see how the conversion to openGL has been going. Many things that weren't working on a similar card on the PC at this point were running great on the Mac. The last build I had was looking fantastic on a Radeon 9000 series card but I haven't been able to test this latest build with it since the card died and ATI lost it in thier RMA dept. Grrr. So- what's the status? It looks like mostly optimizations and hardware compatibility. It's taking shape, but there's still work! The build I had was saved on Sunday, so it looks like Westlake is putting in weekend hours to see this through as soon as possible.
