mostly flood and other Halo puzzles

On the Libary GS says "This installation's research facilities are most impressive! Perhaps you will have time to see them later." This is a puzzling statement as he seems so eager to fire Halo's main weapon, does it go off after a certain time, time enough for people to get off halo, forerunner prehaps.
Or does it go off straight away, if so surely the MC would be killed. Maybe the monitor suggests he upgrades to a class12 suit, so he survives the blast.
Which leads me on to another point if a class twelve suit survives the halo blast, then surely the forerunner could use it to stop being infected by the flood while observing them, which could suggest they were sentient life.
Again this dosn't completely make sense, as if they were protected from infection why design a weapon to destroy life in the galaxy?

I am also surprised at some peoples belief that the human weapons are inefective "Puzzling. You brought such ineffective weapons to fight the Flood, despite the containment protocols." I know some people have said shotgun kills flood with 2 or three shots, but what I understand of the containment protocools to be, that flood must not leave Halo. Now the weapons seem pretty useless, as it neither stops the flood trying to leave halo, or does it make them stay on the halo.
Another, but bizzare possibility is, that the monitor believes that the marines are the weapons, with the MC as the leader. This is similar to the way flood are seen as weapons. With the humans being so realativily easy to take over then the flood would surely find it easier to escape Halo with more bodies, and theirfore break the containment protocools.

As for one of the most famous quotes in Halo "The installation was specifically built to study and contain the Flood. Their survival as a race was dependent upon it. I am grateful to see that some of them survived to reproduce." I always thought it was the flood he was talking about. With the reason he's happy that some of them survived being: for example, say hypothetically you built an ant farm and the ants survived, then you would be glad to see some of the ants survive. But what if the monitor is talking about a different race entirely, "The installation was well conceived". By the foreruner? Maybe, but they were the ones who built it. Its like an invention being well recieved by the general public. But the person who built it was the inventer. So it seems as though another race must have around with the forerunner. Maybe the forerunner(s) lived liked the covenant with different class systems. Leaders(maybe people who were pleased by the Halo creation), scientists(the forerunner) and maybe another race, but any suggestions would be very helpful.

Another theory that other people have asked is why the chief is not affected by spores but elites are. The reason is a) the shields produces an electrical charge which stops the flood being abled to embed itself into him. b) Maybe the master cheif is able to be infected, but we never see it as it takes so long, we only see the MC a couple of seconds after his death. I have also noticed that when a spore enters it host it disapeares, but we never see the process happen. from convenant to flood.

Another puzzle I have noticed is that at the beginning of keyes, if you look to you right somewhere along the coridoor there is kind of a metal grate, if you look through the small gaps you can make out what seems to be the Keyes blob.
Nothing puzzling so far, however Cortana says she has a good lock on Keyes' CNI transponder signal, if this is the case then why does she not teleport the Chief in the room. It seems big enough for me. Ok, Ok, your probably saying well what would be the point of the level if you went straight to the captain. Ok good point, but why would Bungie have the Keyes blob on show through the metal grate. Any ideas would be most welcome.

On the same level before you jump down the hole, there is a medipac, is this possible to access and if so, how? If it is not possible to get it, then why would Bungie put something as important as a medipac if it was innacsesible.

Well, i've certainly posted a lot here, so thaks for reading it, any suggestions and opions would be most welcome. Also if these issues been delt with in more depth, then can someone point in that direction.
