I got some more work done on the Warbow (vehicle) concepts. When I showed the last versions Warbow (the guy) made a good point that I had really gotten away from the original concept. So I went back and rectified that, I hope.
It will ultimately be a playability issue but I don't think this version needs a mounted weapon...the passenger can simply use whatever weapons they are equipped with. The cycle part has two light machine guns akin to the Scorpion's coaxial gun. Making the sidecar breakable and indeed this whole project will depend on the mod-ability of the PC version. Here are the other two versions:
So now I have a problem...they need names. The sidecar version should retain the name "Warbow" for obvious reasons. The other two could be known as Warbow version "x" but I think they should have related names. I am kinda partial to "Warpig" for the four wheel version...btw, it's fun to play Warpig (Ozzy) during the opening of SC. For the two wheel version I was thinking motorcyle, Harley, Hog...Warhog but that's just too close me thinks. Anyway, suggestions and comments always welcome. Also, w/out knowing any details about the PC version in terms of poly counts, texture channels and size etc, it won't really pay to push the bumps and textures beyond this point...so I think I'll put 'em to bed for a while after this.
