FYI NFL kickers actually hit a distance of 54 yards regularly and a height of 30 feet total (11 feet to the bottom bar) at 90 f/s for an opening 18 feet 6 inches wide. They also punt about 40 yards per attempt (most start on the 20+ yard line due to field position).

Last time I checked the NFL kickers weren't aiming for a round ball that rolls on the ground. I am sure Beckham cannot kick an elliptical pigskin ball through the uprights. Lets not try to compare European Football (soccer) with American Football (football). Its apples and oranges - and most American Football fans make it out of the stadium alive.

I have heard playing in traffic is a good cure for bordeom...
