I don't recall seeing those hornbills, do you? Mind you, I think it's been close to 15 years since I was playing H3, so maybe I've just forgotten about them.

As for the underwater business, I left a comment mentioning that in H1 you can get bubbles from firing guns underwater, but maybe there's none of that in H3, judging from the lack of bubbles he was getting with the rifle he had.
