Depending on how you look at it: fine, or basically close to being a dead franchise.

It doesn't seem like Halo Infinite met expectations, and it's also crashing into a Microsoft drastically reforming itself and without a clear gaming strategy going forward. Add to that it doesn't seem like Microsoft has empowered or enabled Halo Studios nee 343 Industries to perform their best (and whose blame that ultimately is can go around and around) and it kind of feels like Halo could be on the chopping block amid an attempt to relentlessly optimize profits.
