It was an interesting experiment. It required standing on the top of the first reformation spire so I had a good view in all directions. Earlier Halo rings 'roll' but Zeta Halo spins like a coin you spin on a table. I can now play certain encounters or outposts in the game with whatever time of day I want because seeing where the sun in the sky is, I can tell how many minutes I'd have to wait to get to daytime, night, or sunset, for example.
I'm also looking at the 6 Banished Dreadnoughts in the sky to note their orientation, relative distances to one another, whether they taking in or releasing Phantoms or deploying drop pods, etc.
These are just things that make the environment come alive and feel more real, but it's interesting to really take note of them.
