: The open world format... I feel very comfortable in saying that Halo:
: Infinite is its own beast. Like, if the Halo FPSs from CE to Reach and
: Guardians were FPSs, and the Halo Wars games are their own beast with RTS
: gameplay, I think Halo: Infinite should be considered its own thing too.
: It does a lot of things similar to the best Halo FPSs, but it still brings
: a lot of its own stuff to the table. I think CrueLEGACY put it best when
: he said that the previous games were full of carefully curated encounters,
: while Halo Infinite is more chaotic and free-form. That is a fundamental
: difference that puts Halo Infinite into a different box than all the FPSs
: that have come before.

: That's not a bad thing. I wouldn't mind more linear games like Halo: Reach or
: ODST. But I don't mind Infinite, and I would like to see more titles like
: it. Maybe I'd be more jaded if I'd played Far Cry or Ubisoft's open world
: games, but I haven't. The experience is relatively new to me. The closest
: comparison I have is Destiny and Borderlands, and Infinite is by far the
: better game.

The excavation site Brute is definitely I think one of the toughest bosses, just because you have to be really good about grappleshotting yourself out of the way in the tight quarters and can still get nicked.
