: So the Halo Cutscene Library (Located here:
: https://halo.bungie.org/misc/cutscenes/) features a wonderful archive
: of high res Halo cutscenes, but over the years, it replaced the OG
: versions of these cutscenes in favor of their ported versions. This,
: however, is a mistake, as the ports in the PC, and the MCC contain
: multiple bugs and glitches which directly impact the presentation and
: overall feel of these cutscenes. The most significant of which include the
: Outskirts intro cutscene for Halo 2, and the Reclaimer closing cutscene
: for Halo 4, which have bugged lighting, making the surroundings overly
: bright. Additionally, Halo 2 and Reach's ports feature reduced bloom,
: making every scene less vibrant than originally intended. Halo 2's Vista
: port also has bugged shaders all throughout every cutscene, and a lower
: FoV.

: The CE cutscene recordings here also feature bugs from the Gearbox port,
: including the glass floor reflections bugging out during the Two Betrayals
: intro cutscene, along with all that port's associated bugs, including an
: incorrect Chief shader and Keyes texture.

: I would like to ask if higher res recordings of the OG cutscenes could be
: uploaded alongside the ported versions, and properly labeled? I remember
: that, at one point, the OG versions of the cutscenes were once hosted here
: in a higher quality.
