I was going to say a grim year but no pun intended.

I was writing an essay describing how bad my year was but, if you're feeling melancholy, then I don't think that you could handle it. :-) And if it was a Hollywood screenplay then nobody would believe it.

So many bad things have happened this year that I have forgotten half of them. I've been feeling down but I've been asking myself, "why do you feel so down? I know that bad things have happened but why the long face?". Writing my essay made me go, "oh yeah, that's why".

So if anybody else here is feeling down then you have my sympathy. I might not know your exact circumstances but I know that things have been grim this year and I can imagine some of the things that you are facing and how they can affect you.
