Apparently 343/Microsoft is adamantly against physical media and LAN parties... You know... the very fabric of Halo's existence... I know People love Live... But it's not the same... and I resent the fact that companies are forcibly pushing the "You can never own what you lease from us" approach to media. Games as a service is becoming the biggest middle finger publishers can shove into fans faces... Maybe I'm just becoming a grumpy old Curmudgeon... But it was this same BS that cost Microsoft the Xbox One generation... I don't know... I guess I just like... Freedom... the freedom to play as long as I want, where I want, when I want, How I want. Without constant payments to continue using what I payed for. Instead gaming is moving more and more into the realm of groveling at the publishers feet begging for an overpriced morsel.
