My guess is that stuff leaks through the toys and ancillary merchandise all the time (most famously, the soundtrack to Star Wars Episode 1 detailing Qui-Gon dying) so it makes sense to release stuff early. As shown, aside from the fact that there's a villain in the game (shocking!) there's nothing truly earth-shattering.

Some of the content definitely appears to only be Reach-related, so it might not really mean anything for the look of Infinite.
