Unsurprisingly, Archillen did cite Moebius as an inspiration while working on this. I'm not familiar with Moebius's non-Halo work (Yet!) but it reminded me of some of my favorite scenes from Tom Parkinson-Morgan's Kill 6 Billion Demons.

I loved every step of this commission, and I hope to have more money to throw his way soon.
