This is intense. This is phenomenal. I am utterly amazed at how well you wove together trivia and signposting* from all across the Halo franchise into a really interesting system. It works so perfectly, I can't believe it wasn't planned out from the beginning, which is amazing since I'm pretty sure that Halo's showrunners didn't sit down in 2001 to draw up a map of Human space.
Awesome work. Awe-inspiring work.
*Signposting: One step down from worldbuilding. Worldbuilding is the act of creating a world with a different history from our own and imagining how people would live in that world. It can mean constructing political institutions that give the characters a relatable reason to come into conflict, or it can mean drawing up a map of your fantasy world so the readers can trace the party's journey to Mordor, or it can mean constructing entire languages to give the places on that map authentic names.
Signposting helps with worldbuilding, but the aim isn't to construct a world. It's just to loan the story some verisimilitude, with no underlying plan beneath. The name of a town can be signposting, or the distance between that town and another.
