I figured out where I got that impression: on Spotify (a streaming music service, entirely above-board), it was listed as "Difference for Darkness". I put it in some playlists that still show it with that name, so I figured that was correct since they have much stranger names to deal with and a lot of it is probably automated and not subject to human assumptions, but looking at the soundtrack album it's listed as "Deference for Darkness".
This is what the situation looks like.

The only other place I can find it as "Difference for Darkness" is in another person's Spotify playlist.
It's really strange.
I think they got it wrong and at some point in the last couple years they fixed the mistake, but the fix didn't propagate to everything.
