: You don't really need a high end computer for 1080p capture. I used a 10 year
: old Mac Pro. What you need to focus on is disk space and speed. You need
: enough space for the capture, and a fast enough disk to not drop frames.
: 7200 RPM and anything less than 7.5ms seek time should be fine. Just test
: your throughput with an app. 1080p60 Prores averages about 293 Mb/s for
: 422, and 440 Mb/s for 422HQ. Other codecs like DnxHD and Cineform are
: similar.

But soon we'll have 4K goodness to account for (at least for the in-engine cutscenes.)
