In Response To: Last-minute CE speed run record (Rockslider)

: Someone kindly alerted me to something. On the very last day of 2017,
: GarishGoblin set a world record speed run for full-game Halo:CE with a
: time of 1:14:45. The reason for the alert being, my Banshee grab method
: was used in AOTCR. I'd been kinda waiting for someone to use that in
: nabbing a full-game record, because the potential was clearly there. Nice
: to know I contributed some technology!

Congrats! Although I sort of assumed one of your exploits or tricks had already been used in some way before this. I guess the Banshee grab is the only shortcut you can specifically trace the provenance of? Feels like at this point stuff like grabbing the later Banshee or the bridge exploit have been known "forever" so I guess my frame of reference is off.
