Getting to Cortana on Crows Nest
By:The SuperWaffle

Since we released "Getting to Cortana on Floodgate" we've been trying to find ways into the other Cortana Rooms on the other 5 levels that have them, that being Sierra 117, Crows Nest, The Storm, The Covenant, and Cortana.

This room on Crows Nest involved many small deviations from how we would normally go about doing a trick like this. the biggest one is decreasing your vertical velocity as you are going in solid space. Usually with a unmodified DC clip, your clip direction is in a "parabolic" shape, and because of the proximity of the room and the elevation it was at, we would always launch over the room. By jumping on the players head however, we were able to make the DC clip more horizontal and thus, enter the room.

Since we could get in with more materials, we decided to bring some equipment into the room to see how much we could manipulate the cortana moment we saved and the deployable cover worked the best.

The reason we DC clipped from the drone cave to the missle silo was to skip the hallway cortana moment and "Sandwich" ourselves between two cortana moments. The reason this was needed was because we needed one cortana moment to survive the DC clip into the Cortana Room, and we needed the other moment to see cortana. The first Cortana moment was placed before the spot where we needed to DC clip inside the Cortana Room, so skipping that moment was crucial.
