I agree with most of this however, I think a Limited Lives option is a good idea. I think their balance is more Warzone, but I am OK with that. Except that this even more than normal Warzone requires spending those REQ cards to win, which means potentially having to buy Gold REQs (probably the point, which I don't like). But it's fun, even being mostly easy. random's did let the Middle Base get taken 1 round 3, but destroyed things every other time though.

Sitting back with those REQ's is the way to win, it's a crutch.

I also think the Map designs don't work well for this style, or if they made a more competitive mode similar to the older style (with more rounds). It's just not the design. But they can do the "miniature" maps they have for WarZone Assault for that potentially and it would work better. I do LOVE the objectives being part of this, but I also wish they didn't despawn. You won, but you have to clean up shop before the next round would be fun.

I also agree with the openness. I have spawned and had a Phaeton or 2 Ghosts, or so many enemies shooting at me, that I haven;t gotten more than 12 feet before I died. Luckily since their are no life pools it's not as big of an issue, but it feels like I am cheated, especially when I just called in a power weapon from a card.

But I do have FUN with this, I laugh and enjoy even dying (other than the above example), which I haven't done as much in Halo 5 before.
