Did you skip the part where I said the ARTIFICIALLY bloat the REQ system with USELESS REQS?
I don't mind playing the game a reasonable amount of time to unlock high level items but the amount of bullshit that bloats the REQ system and the time investment to REQ Points earned ratio is outrageous.

I guarantee this is how development went with the REQ System:

343 team meeting:

Boss: "Okay everyone, as you know we are developing a new system called the REQ system. Basically what we need from you is as many different sets of armor/vehicles as humanly possible. I don't care if it fits the universe, if it makes sense in any way, hell I don't care if it even looks cool. We need filler to keep these people playing or paying. Lets see what ideas you have come up with...Remember there are no bad ideas we will take anything."

Employee #1: "What about as many useless vehicles as possible? Like 4 or 5 different kinds of every vehicle? Just make them different colors and slightly stronger."

Employee #2: "OOOOOOOH!!!! SCOUT WARTHOGS! We can have so many of those!!!"

Boss: "Good idea!!!"

Employee #1: "I drew a Spartan with a visor that wraps around the back of his head! Doesn't make sense but I was out of ideas."

Boss: "Hey it works."

Employee #2: "I tried to model the MK V... I'm not sure where I went wrong but hey its close enough."

Boss: "Close enough is good enough around here."

Employee # 3 (Lets call him BrimGrotherWon): "Wait a minute...Shouldn't we make good items that fit the Halo universe that Bungie created and look good? Also shouldn't we minimize useless REQs in order to create a customer friendly experience and doesn't lock content behind a paywall or a RIDICULOUS time investment wall?"

Boss: "...Remember when I said there are no bad ideas? THAT'S AN AWFUL IDEA!!!"
