I don't recall seeing these before. Interesting. However, your 240p wasn't easy to live with so I went searching for better image quality, and I'm sure you won't mind me giving links to the three 480p versions I found, which are far clearer.

Steve Abeyta & Shi Kai Wang, apparently from OXM 07 June 2002. The audio momentarily cuts out a few times, and the video clumsily cuts off the last few words at the end.

Unfortunately the uploader doesn't have the other one, featuring Alex Seropian and Hamilton Chu (corresponding to your number 2 vid).

In regard to whether HBO has the vids, I eventually found 'Halo Team interviews', classified under interviews in the movie section (although these aren't interviews of course, so I almost didn't find this at all). However, the link gives me a 404, and in any case the text tells me to expect 240p only.
