Let's not forget, though, that those nerds ended up saving the day in the film, because of their attention to detail. :p

That said, I do agree that sometimes too much continuity criticizing is unnecessary (hence why I started this page on Halopedia to show that progress IS being made), but I don't think this is the case. This new Mark V looks really ugly, and if you're trying to appeal fans by saying "play with the classic Mark V armor!", then it should actually look like the classic Mark V. They could've just called it an entirely new set instead.
