The asker should have left off the 2nd part to the question. Leave it as "When", instead of "any of these?"

Sadly, the only way to grammatically leave no interpretive hole would have been to ask something like:
"Will Halo Wars 2 take place before Halo 5? Or will Halo Wars 2 take place during Halo 5? Or will Halo Wars 2 take place after Halo 5?"
Or, maybe:
"In which of the following time periods will Halo 5 take place? A) Before Halo 5, B) During Halo 5, C) After Halo 5, D) None of the above. Please choose at least one."

Of course, then the question might not get answered at all :P
