It just makes no logical sense as to why this doesn't end with Halsey discovering the fat of Cortana and her plan. I can't for the life of me understand why they didn't end it this way. It's almost like the story was changed at the last minute....

The Absolute Record is the perfect place to discover who or what has been using Forerunner tech, and given it's all-encompassing nature it must be tied to the domain as well. Perhaps the 12 moons will forge Genesis, but if that is the case then it should've been more explicitly stated.

I enjoyed Escalation because I thought it was leading somewhere. :(
