: Given some of our recent discussion here, I'm not sure how interested folks
: around here are in stuff like this anymore. I'm still a sucker for art
: books, though, and I have way too many of them for everything I'm
: interested in (Halo, Destiny, other games, Lord of the Rings/The Hobbit,
: Game of Thrones, Harry Potter, etc).
: There's not a whole lot to say about this book. If you have the other Art of
: Halo books, you know exactly what to expect. It's nearly identical to the
: Art of Halo 4 book in terms of substance. It's basically just lots of
: pretty pictures with the occasional sentence or two about the art or
: design study.
: I'm always simultaneously enthralled with and disappointed with these books.
: They're great for seeing design concepts and iterations of familiar
: objects and characters, but I really wish there were more descriptions and
: more insight into the process (something the Weta books, and the big ass
: Harry Potter book I have, are great at).
: But anyway, here are a few pictures to show it off. I'd recommend it for
: other art nuts and if you enjoyed the Art of Halo 4.

: Book cover with a Guardian:
: Covenant ship and Wraith:
: Neat weapon study, showing the modularity of the Assault Rifle:

: Elite glyphs:
: Spartan studies:

It occurred to me that whatever text info is in the book, scant though it might be, would be a good addition to the content for the Wikipedia article on Halo 5. Can you scan through it and see if there's stuff on a higher-level process that might be worth quoting?
