I haven't spent much time in the Master Chief Collection's campaigns. Mainky because ive already beat the iriginals on solo legendary already and don't really see the point of putting myself through that frustration again. Don't get me wrong. I love the story and most of the gameplay. But playing them AGAIN on Legendary wasn't something I planned on doing.

Then Halo 5 came out with a special armor for beating these games again on Legendary. Fine I'll do it. I've done it before, I know I can do it again. Especially knowing how much more skilled at the franchise, I am now, then before.

So, I figured, I'll start with Halo2 because I remember it being the most frustrating of the four. On Legendary, that is. I also decided ti take my sweet time so not to let areas get on my nerves too much. I also figured I'd go for a few skulls and dolls along the way. Why rush it, right?

I finally beat the High Charity level but no achievement popped. No big deal. They sometimes don't pop up on the screen. On to the final level (The Great Journey). The banshees near the end are a but of a pain, but I got past them. I was now 10 minutes or less from finishing this game.

But then it was twenty minutes, then thirty, and time kept adding up. Nothing I did would kill Tartaus. I know the drill. Let Johnson take out his shields and hammer him (with shots) until the shields recharge. Repeat this til Tartaus drops. The only problem was that it was not working. No joke. I spent over an hour on two separate occasions trying to take him out. Running out of all available ammo along the way. It resulted in me asking for help on Twitter. Trying to find out what was going on. Why would ge not die?!

I return home late today (Monday) and give it another go. Sure enough, Tartaus drops within 12 minutes or so. 'FINALLY!', I yell. I wait for the beautiful Blur cutscenes to pass and tge game goes straight to the menu. No credits. No Achievement pop. Just a short loading screen and then the menu.

A bit upset, I load up my achievements, just for confirmation. But they are nit there. The achievements for completing the last two levels, and the entire game, on Legendary are missing! So I switched iver to my carrer states. Out of the 15 levels (of 15) I completed, the game only showed I completed 13!?! So, naturally, I checked the level stats because I could not believe what I was seeing. But they CLEARLY show I beat them solo and on legendary! But another stat says ive yet to play on any difficulty?! While it shows the nearly 20 hours playing it???? ( Told ya I took my time )

I now have two questions.

1) Does ANYONE kniw what's going on?

2) Does anyone want to play co-op legendary on these 4 games to unlock the Halo5 armor.
These hlutches have turned me iff of playing any if them solo again.
